1. Introduction

GBP Performance Reporting is a reporting application operated by DigitVibez. The application helps authorised businesses review and analyse their Google Business Profile information through structured reports and dashboards.

This Privacy Policy explains how GBP Performance Reporting accesses, uses, stores and protects information obtained through Google Business Profile services and related Google APIs.

2. Information We Access

GBP Performance Reporting accesses Google Business Profile information through permissions granted by a business owner or authorised administrator.

Information accessed may include:

  • Business account and location identifiers, business names and location details.
  • Customer reviews, including reviewer display names, any profile-photo URLs supplied by Google, star ratings, review text, creation and update dates, and business replies.
  • Available Google Business Profile performance metrics.
  • Local-post content, associated media links, dates and publishing information.
  • OAuth authorisation tokens required to retrieve authorised information.
  • Operational records, including collection timestamps, processing results and error information.

    • Access is limited to business profiles that the authorising Google account has permission to manage.

3. Google Business Profile API Data Usage

GBP Performance Reporting uses Google Business Profile APIs to retrieve authorised business profile information for reporting purposes.

Google Business Profile data accessed by the application is used only to provide reporting functionality, analyse performance trends and create dashboards for authorised users.

DigitVibez does not sell or rent Google API data, use it to serve advertising—including personalised advertising or retargeting—or use it for purposes unrelated to the authorised reporting service. Our use and transfer of Google API data follows the [Google API Services User Data Policy](https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including its Limited Use requirements.

4. How We Use Google Data

The information obtained through Google APIs is used for the following purposes:

  • Creating performance reports.
  • Displaying business profile insights through dashboards.
  • Analysing review activity and performance trends.
  • Helping authorised businesses understand their Google Business Profile activity.

5. Data Storage and Security

The application runs on Google Cloud Run. Reporting information is stored in Google Cloud BigQuery and presented through Looker Studio dashboards.

OAuth refresh tokens and application client secrets are stored in Google Cloud Secret Manager. These credentials enable authorised data collection and are not displayed in reporting dashboards.

Google Cloud access permissions are used to control access to the application, stored information and credentials. Access is provided to authorised personnel and systems required to operate and maintain the reporting service.

6. Sharing of Information

Reporting information may be accessed by authorised DigitVibez personnel and made available to business owners or representatives granted access for the agreed reporting service.

Google Cloud and Looker Studio process information as part of providing the application’s hosting, storage and reporting functions.

DigitVibez does not sell or rent Google Business Profile information or disclose it to third parties for purposes unrelated to the authorised reporting service.

7. Data Retention

GBP Performance Reporting retains reporting information only for as long as required to provide reporting services and maintain historical performance analysis.

Retention periods may vary depending on reporting requirements, account arrangements and operational needs.

8. Removing Access to Google Data

The Google account that authorised GBP Performance Reporting can revoke the application’s access through its Google Account settings.

Businesses whose profiles are connected through DigitVibez’s agency account can contact support@digitvibez.com to request that collection for their business profiles stops and to arrange disconnection from the reporting service.

Revoking access prevents further retrieval through that authorisation. Previously stored reporting information is handled separately through the data-retention and deletion process.

9. Requesting Data Deletion

Users can request deletion of stored reporting information associated with their account by contacting DigitVibez.

10. Third-Party Services

GBP Performance Reporting uses Google Business Profile APIs, Google Cloud Run, BigQuery, Secret Manager and Looker Studio to collect, process, store and present authorised information.

These services operate under their applicable terms and data-protection arrangements. DigitVibez remains responsible for the data-handling practices described in this policy.
